This  bed works with a standard crib mattress (27"w x 52"l) which is not included. The overall size of the bed is 58"l x 32"w x 36"h (approx size due to the slight variation in the logs)

Hickory is an extremely hard wood that is perfect for making furniture! This bed is made from hickory saplings which are cut above their root system in such a way that it will regrow several new shoots in the place that was cut. This is a sustainable forest product!
The log toddler bed is a great transition from crib to bed for children who are mobile and walking.
